I have set an approximately 2.65ct portrait cut moissanite over 2 mirror image death head hawk moths. The side gems are lab ruby kites and they have a combined weight of approximately .50cts. This ring is inspired by antique shadow boxes that held preserved plants and insects. The ring is cast in solid 14k gold.

The ring shown in the photos is set with lab ruby kites. 

The ring measures 18mm's wide at the top and the band is about 2mm's wide.
