Selene was a Titan goddess in Greek mythology. She was the goddess of the moon, and is said to be the personification of the moon itself. She drives her moon chariot across the heavens every night.
Selene was linked to Artemis as well as Hecate; all three were considered lunar goddesses.
This engagement ring is set with a gorgeous Emerald cut Chatham Emerald in the center, there are 2 additional Chatham Emeralds set in to the cups of the moons and the tiny stars above and below the center stone. The Chatham Emeralds have a combined weight of approx. 1.1 carats. The crescent moons are set with 6 tiny diamonds and there is a halo of stars set with tiny diamonds as well as some beautiful diamond details on the band. The total diamond weight is approx. .22 carats, the diamonds are VS clarity.
The moon ring just under 16mm's wide at the top and the band is about 2mm's wide at the back.
